The Suzhou Museum is a museum of ancient Chinese art and its collection includes porcelains, relics of the revolution, handicraft works, calligraphy, and paintings of Ming and Qing Dynasties. The museum has been highly regarded as the most diverse and well organized regional museums. There are four permanent exhibition halls. The Wu Treasures Hall which is located on the underground floor includes prehistoric pottery, jade, and bronze vessels. There is also the Wu Pagoda Relics Hall, and the Buddhist-themed exhibition halls with Buddhist relics excavated from historical buildings around Suzhou.
Take tourist bus no. 1, 2 or 5 or bus no. 55, 178, 202, 262, 309, 518, 529, 811, 923 or 925, and get off at Suzhou Museum Station.
