Shantang Street is situated in Gusu District of the downtown of Suzhou. It is an ancient riverside pedestrian road. Shantang Old Street is famous for Suzhou embroideries, exquisite silk items, tasteful food of Suzhou renowned brands, old tea houses, modern pubs, and western restaurants. In 2015, the Shantang Street Scenic Area was added to the list of China's "National Historic and Cultural Streets".
Take bus line 7, 34, 44, 64, 85, 161, 304, 315, 317, 318, 406, 415, 522, 921, 970 or 980, and get off at Shantang Street Station.
Take rail transit line 2 and get off at Shantang Street Station.
