Lingyin Temple ancient and monumental place for worship is one of the largest and wealthiest temples in China that contains numerous pagodas and Buddhist grottoes. The temple is surrounded by majestic peaks and sky-reaching ancient trees. An area of historic and cultural interest as well as natural scenery with woods, flowers, springs, etc. it draws in the crowds and several tour groups which might be at times slightly annoying as they are loud and cause some disturbances. Criticised as a highly commercial temple, the area does attract a lot of attention and one trip to the temple to view the magnificent artefacts is definitely worth the trip there.
