The UNESCO World Heritage Site is located right in the center of the city and contains the Crown Treasury and Armory, State Rooms, Royal Apartments, and the exhibition of Oriental Art. Each of the separate sections has separate tickets although the entrance to the castle grounds is free. The beautiful castle and church have an exquisite black altar and also contains tombs in it. The dragon bones that hang over the door is a firm tourist favourite and is worth a visit. You could also go for a peaceful boat ride that costs about 200 Zloty. The castle has a little coffee shop that sells good coffee and tasty cakes. Don’t forget to take in the city from the top as the castle provides an incredible panoramic view.

Private transportation: Head on Kamieńskiego and take Marii Konopnickiej and Dietla and turn left onto Droga Do Zamku.
Public transportation: Take bus Kraków-Jordanów towards Jordanów Rynek.
Be advised that each exhibition has a separate entrance fee
The last visitor entry is one hour before closing
Food, drink, and using mobile phones is not permitted in the exhibitions
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the castle or on the hill
Photography is not allowed inside the exhibitions
For conservation reasons, there are daily limits to the number of visitors
Advance reservations are required for all groups
Senior citizens, students, and others are eligible for discounted admission
