The zoo fascinates with its magnificent location on the top of a hill in the middle of Wolski Forest. It offers visitors the chance to see 1,400 animals from about 270 species, but still manageable in size. You will get an opportunity to see the rare, exotic, and endangered species here. If the weather is nice you can catch feeding demonstrations of the sea lions and direct contact with trained species in the Mini-Zoo which kids will surely like. In the winter season, you can get a glimpse of snowy animals like owls and snow leopards. There are snack bars and ice cream vendors to keep the children extra happy.
You need to go to Krakow Football Stadium, about a 15-min walk from the centre or catch a bus/tram there and a bus will take you directly to the zoo from there
