Planty Park is a huge green space that encircles the entire historical city centre with a green ring. That's why its poetic name is that of a beautiful green necklace around the nape of the city. Historically, this is where the walls of the old town used to be - now the park is a conscientiously maintained symbol that boasts ruins of the old walls in many locations. From the sea of abundant benches that line the labyrinthine pathways that course the route of the Planty like veins, you’ll spot coffee sipping locals, book reading tourists, dog walking Cracovians, and an interesting cross-section of Polish folk that will keep you busy, even if all you’re doing is people watching. It's a very pretty and peaceful walk. You can admire 40 different kinds of tree and shrub species, with specimens including monuments of nature. Evening walks are so relaxing.

Get on Kamieńskiego. Continue on Kamieńskiego to your destination. Merge with Kamieńskiego. Use the left lanes to merge with II Obwodnica/Marii Konopnickiej. Use the right lane to continue on Marii Konopnickiej. Turn right at Rondo Grunwaldzkie. Continue onto Grunwaldzki. Turn left onto Stradomska. Turn right onto I Obwodnica/Świętej Gertrudy. Turn left at Starowiślna.
