The 13th Century National Park is situated in Erdene country, Yol mountain, a little far from Ulaan Bataar. The national park has been built and established as a real-time kingdom to provide the essence of the way of living and working of the 13th Century to the visitors. The atmosphere is so natural and magnificent with no electric pole, no radio, and TV. A life we all should live perhaps.
Visitors can enjoy yearly festivals, practices such as making felt cover for ghers, sling wool, participating in divine tradition to praise flag, heaven by sacrificing, marriages, weeping camel, learning how to milk the mare, and many more. Here the visitors can dine with Khans and Queens and see the house of lords and learn to write in Mongolian scripts and play in horse-headed fiddle. The park has six camps and societies providing service to the tourists.
The park is 6.3 km away from the city center.
