About St. Peter's Church, Riga

It St. Peter's Church is one of the oldest and most valuable medieval monuments in the Baltic States. It is located in Riga's historic center, and in 1997 was included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. It has a tower where one can enjoy panoramic views of the city, Daugava River and the Riga Sea bay. St. Peter’s Church, built in the 16th Century has been rebuilt quite a few times - the last time that it was restored was in 1941. The interior has intricate ceiling patterns and various memorials on the walls to ancient kings and exalted visitors.

It is 3.8 km away from the Riga City Center.
