The Riga Zoo was established on 14 October, 1912. Riga Zoo is a bona fide member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA). The zoo has an animal feeding show, which is quite an attraction for visitors. If you are visiting Riga with your kids, the zoo should definitely be at the top of your itinerary. The Riga Zoo is spread across approximately 20 hectares and houses around 3000 animals. It is a nice place to visit and enjoy with family and friends.
