This is one of the largest markets in Europe and one can find the best products of Riga at a bargain here. It is housed in the old Zeppelin hangars and is filled with beautifully presented food items, giving an insight into local cuisine and produce. It is kept very clean. In addition, there are outdoor market stalls as well, and many different non-food items to buy. Whether you're a food lover or not, this place should not be missed. One can easily spend half a day here. There is also a relatively new Gastropub section with a food hall with many different small restaurants and takeout vendors selling every imaginable type of cuisine from around the world.
