You can't even imagine the type of cars that are placed within the four walls of the Riga Motor Museum and if you love your automobiles then this is the place for you. Of course, there is a great collection of former Soviet cars (the small, very big and very fast ones), but also small surprises like a dented Rolls (unfortunately, no history of the occasion is listed) and some very interesting European and American classics. There is a 1930s 16-cylinder Auto Union, a race circuits terror of those days. There are three floors of old and not-so-old cars, in excellent conditions with a lot of interactive entertainment.
It is 6.9 km away from the Riga City Center.
A trip from the city center to Riga Motor Museum using public transport takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. You can reach there by Bus No.5, the bus drops you right in front of the museum. A drive from the city center by car will take 20 minutes.
A taxi ride will cost approximately 7 to 10 Euros.
