The Bastejkalna Park is located along the canal of the Old Town of Latvia following the River Daubawa. It is an artificial canal which meanders amidst the neatly laid park and walkways. It is a massive garden that separates the center from the Old Town. There is a hill with a view, and a circular path to reach the top. The park contains many beautiful monuments, artworks, statues, bridges, and playgrounds. From the park, it is possible to take a trip through the city in a canal boat. This park is right next to the Freedom Monument, which is named after the Bastion Hill.
It is 3.5 km away from the Riga City Center.
