BUTTERFLY PARK was founded and is run by a Dutch couple, Olaf and Ineke. The area itself around The Kuang Si naturally attracts hosts of beautiful butterflies, so it became a perfect spot to embark their project. As you enter you will come through a well-designed and gardens, where you can pause to admire the streams. Furthermore, you will reach a netted garden which is full of colourful and beautiful butterflies. You can spend an entire day here wandering, at the wooden bridges or spend some quality time around the water taking picture perfect as you capture those idyllic shots of the falls. It's an ideal place to spend time with family friends etc. While you are here you can also pay your visit to the bear rescue centre and the Kuang Si Falls Butterfly Park, both of which are also worth visiting
To reach BUTTERFLY PARKyou can share a Tuk tuks or vans for about 50.000 to 60.000 kip and private is about 250.000 kip, They make a regular 30km trip to the Kuang Si Butterfly Park. If you'd like you may want to cycle there (there are a couple of steep hills en route). For cycling takes about 2 hours and renting a bicycle is about 20.000 kips/day.
