The Museum of Popular Traditions is home to the priceless artifacts of Jordan. All five exhibition halls in this museum are dedicated to special area of interests. Here, visitors see an interesting collection of traditional costumes of East Bank, cosmetic items and traditional jewelry of both the East Bank and the West Bank, wonderful traditional Palestinian costumes, a fascinating collection of bridal dresses and silver jewelry, and intriguing collection of mosaics of Byzantine churches from Jerash and Madaba.
• Explore its five galleries preserving pottery, costumes, mosaics, jewelry, and other artifacts used in the day-to-day lives of the Jordan civilization.
• Its central location within Roman Theater is its biggest attraction
• There are four halls:
• The first hall has traditional costumes in vivid colours from the East Bank.
• In the second hall, jewelry and cosmetic items collected from different parts of the East and West Banks are displayed
•: The Third hall showcases Palestinian costumes.
• Artifacts from daily life and other utensils are shown in the fourth hall.
There is no direct line to the theatre. Take a taxi.
