About Trevi Fountain

Situated comfortably between the palaces of ancient Rome, the Trevi Fountain is a majestic sight to behold. Water cascades beautifully over the artistic marble statues and arches. The city of Rome is filled with many beautiful fountains but none can match the sheer immortal beauty of the Trevi Fountain. Built in the famed Baroque architectural style, the Trevi Fountain can be heard from several streets away before reaching its most audible melodious at the center of the square. Built in the early eighteenth, this iconic fountain was the end point of the Aqua Virgo aqueducts and provided fresh clean water to Rome for hundreds of years.
