About Heritage Centre & Aerospace Museum

Exciting and entertaining, it is a must visit place for all aviation freaks. It was inaugurated in 2001 at the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited premises, the museum was established with an aim of educating the people about everything of the journey of HAL HAlL is one of Asia's largest and most important aeronautical companies, and the museum displays its historical, scientific or academic sides. The museum proudly boasts of the giant leaps Indian aviation has taken, both commercially as well as in terms of defence. The museum is an inspirational, knowledgeable and fun space for kids, school students, and even elders. It depicts the history and transformation of HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited). It has two parts, one showing history and the other inventions and products. It is one of the major public attractions of Bangalore.which  gives the visitors an all-inclusive aerospace experience in an effective manner. The place takes one into the world of aerospace and explore the world of aircraft and gain new learnings. The museum has a lot to showcase and provides information regarding various eras of Indian aviation. It is a very well maintained place with very interesting exhibits from the stables of India's premier aircraft manufacturing organization.

How to reach

It is 9.3 km from the city center. One can hire a taxi, take a bus, own personal vehicle.

Bus number 323 F, 323 G, 324 A, 325, 327,  can be taken from MG Road. The buses are available every 4 minutes. The ticket would cost around Rs. 19 for this distance.

One can also hire a taxi. Taxi fare starting price is 15 Rs.
