Natural and huge spread over a vast area a park is a wonderful place for nature and animal lovers. It is one among the few places in the world where wilderness is preserved so close to a big city. It provides picnic facilities to the urban population leaving in the vicinity of Bengaluru. Its attractions include a butterfly park, an aquarium, a zoo, children's park, crocodile farm, and a snake park. Due to its richness and variety of flora and fauna, it was declared as the National park in 1974. India's first butterfly park is at this biological park. It houses a butterfly conservatory, a museum, and an audiovisual room. Jungle safari gives an individual a chance to have a close look at the wildlife and have an amazing experience. The forest area has a large and unique species of plants and trees. It is a destination to be enjoyed with family and friends, where one can get in close touch with nature and wildlife, a true joy it is to enjoy peacefully a day out from our routine life.
It is 22 km. from the city center. One can board Bus number 365 from Kempegowda BMTC bus stand, it goes directly to the park. The buses are available every 20 minutes.
One can also hire a cab or local taxi to the park.
