A museum focused on cultural art that stores over 100000 objects? That's correct. One of the oldest museums in the world, the museum is a walk down Islamic history and arts' lane. The display includes objects from as early as Prophet Mohammed's family's time. The artwork on display, divided into 20 categories, includes wooden frames, wire-work, rare versions of the Quran, as well as many day to day decorated objects such as vases and bowls, etc. There is also an extensive collection of Turkish pottery, a lamp collection and a tomb cover from 652 AD. There is a small library, research center, and a souvenir store as well. The museum is not very large, so you will be able to explore it fully in one go itself.
