Yaku Water Museum is all about water and its importance. The word "Yaku" is written in Kichwa language and it means "water." The museum is located in Av. American y Colon and the museum exhibits about the importance and significance of water and the efficient way of managing water. The museum consists of lots of room with a unique theme and concepts exhibited in each room. In each and every room, you will find a mediator who will help and guide you with the room. The first one is "Agua Viva" which teaches about the different natural and chemical characteristics of water. The second one is "Agua Que crea" which explains the biological significance of water and the existence of life. And the third one is Nuestra agua" which explains and demonstrates the relationship between humans and water. The main attraction in this museum is the "Bubble Room." Most of the visitors love to visit the museum especially to get to play with water bubbles and have a fun experience with an opportunity to learn about the physical and chemical properties of water. Apart from the above attractions, there are temporary exhibitions with artistic and scientific displays about water and its significance. Every Sunday dance, theatre, and musical programs are conducted for the general public.
