Casa del Alabado Museum of Pre-Columbian Art is a non-profit organization running with the help of individuals and some private organizations. It is one of the great attractions in the city and one of the most beautiful museums. It consists of nearly 5,000 archaeological objects. The main aim of its establishment is to preserve and share the pre-Columbian art and cultures in Ecuador and was opened in April 2010 for the public. The museum looks very beautiful with the pre-Columbian art and their artifacts. You can also view the collection of videos displayed in the museum which illustrates the facts of art. The place is well maintained and it looks clean and neat. You will be guided by numbers in the museum so it is easy for you to explore the arts. Museum consists of 8 exhibition rooms with a temporary exhibition, 2 rooms for workshops, a museum shop, and 2 courtyards which make your visit more interesting.
