Yelidao Island is a great place for dining and shopping, but the latest attraction added to it in 2016, the Zhuhai Opera House, has become the new landmark for the city. Built over an area of 50,000 square meters on Zhuhai’s main waterfront, the opera house is now the city’s major cultural attraction. Endowed with advanced acousto-optic and technical effects, the giant steel structures look like they belong to a parallel world. The Concert Hall has 1,600 seats, a lobby, auditorium and stage for broad-scale musical drama, musicals, ballet, symphonies, chamber music, opera and other large-scale performances and variety of shows.
