The Bangladesh National Botanical Gardens host a large collection of herbarium species. There's a butterfly house, an artificial water house, a rose garden, and lakes that criss-cross across the terrain. It is the largest plant conservation center in all of Bangladesh and serves as the hub for all botanical enthusiasts in the country. You'll find all kinds of recreational and educational events throughout the year, hosted in conjunction with the neighboring Dhaka Zoo.
The Gardens is a good escape from the busy city life. There aren't many things more relaxing than visiting an extremely biodiverse community like this one.
