Ahsan Manzil is an exquisite architectural site with the octagonal dome at the center. There is a large drawing room, a card room, and a four-square room. The palace is situated as symmetrical halves on either side of the dome. It has a beautiful Jalsaghar room. The floors of the dining and the darbar halls are laid with striking colored tiles. The railings of the stairs are embellished with vine leaves made of iron. The inner doors are adorned with multi-colored glass while the external doors have wooden beams. The doorways are designed with semicircular arches which beautify the palace. There was a pond when the French and English inhabited the palace and was called "Les Jalla" during that period. The pond still exists, which is surrounded by a beautiful garden where there are a wide variety of plants. Visitors can get an enchanting view of the palace amidst the magnificent garden and a pond.
