Every city has its landmarks, the must-see for every traveler, The Griffith Observatory is that place in Los Angeles. It's a place for all things space with an astronomy museum and planetarium. Set in Griffith Park, there are also exceptional views of the Los Angeles Downtown and the famous Hollywood sign.
The Griffith Observatory has four permanent telescopes with a 12-inch refractor, which provides an exceptional view of the night sky. Visitors can climb up to the rooftop of the east dome to have a closer look at the planets and moon. If heights aren't your thing or you are just short on time, you can also view the projected images of the telescopes in the Hall of the Eye. With all these attractions, it is no wonder many tourists flock here to coalesce with the vibes of the city and the world beyond our sky.
