About Phang Nga Bay

The Phang Nga Bay is a bay near Phuket where you can experience the beauty of nature shaping the world over the course of time. Collapsed caves, limestone structures and many different islands make exploring the bay a very interesting affair. The bay was created due to rising sea levels from the past, before which it was possible to walk from the island of Phuket to Krabi. The bay is best known for its ‘James Bond Island’, named so because one of the islands in it was featured in the movie, ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’. This has been one of the biggest draws for the international tourists coming to visit Thailand and one of the most famous destinations in the Bay.

The Bay is also a perfect place to visit because of the multiple ways one can experience it in. The bay can be explored atop a luxury cruise over a weekend where you can take in the sights with wine glasses and platters, or you can take a kayak yourself and brave the waves for beautiful landmarks all around you. There is cave exploration, guided tours, island hopping with plenty to shop and eat from and gorgeous sightseeing all around.
