It is one of the most exquisite museums in Muscat. It has a large collection of military hardware. The staff welcomes you in a friendly and amicable manner. It consists of military items spread across two floors with an extremely big area to view used aircraft and ship. A very well maintained museum and covers all important aspects of armed forces. It's worth seeing at least once by visitors as also residents. There are various exhibits inside the museum providing a historical journey of the Omani Armed services through history. On the outside of the museum, there are cars, troop carriers, aircraft, and boats. An exceptionally planned and well laid out museum that gives you an idea of Oman right from its very inception to the present.
