About Qurum Beach

Qurum beach is one of the most famous and most crowded beaches in Muscat. People visit this beach to see the beautiful sunset. One can go for an evening walk, to inhale lungfuls of the fresh breeze, to watch the glorious sunset as the sun dips into the watery horizon. It's as close as you can get to an untouched beach in an urban location. The beach is beautiful and very family friendly.

Qurum beach is a great place to be even in the mornings to spend time doing a morning activity like walking, running, jogging, playing soccer or even something as simple as reading a book in the open with some coffee. Check out the wonderful restaurants and cafes here serving up gastronomical masterpieces for people to enjoy their beach time. This is a great place for families. Parents with young children love this beach because everything here is near at hand. The parents can enjoy their break at the bar or the cafe and also keep an eye on the kids at the same time. At low tide, it is perfect for the children to run and go into the sea with little worry as it is really shallow for a long time. Adding to this is the ocean which is the perfect blue and the beach is also perfectly clean.
