Museo de Artes y Costumbres Populares will take you on a journey or back in history during the 19th Century of Málaga. Here they have a wide collection of things right from the 17th Century coaches to carriages drawn by animals, or even forging crafts, baking, fishing or printing. You can learn how they used to make wine and oil, and discover the rural world, folklore and popular religion.
The floors are well maintained and divided. There are different rooms and a lot to see and explore here about the daily life of Málaga, its customs, culture, arts and local crafts. Do not miss the "Chimney" where you can walk into a kitchen of that time and walk through the "Dining Room" with furniture and household items which were typical of that period. Málaga holds prime importance in wine production and commerce. So you must visit this place to better understand the lifestyle and conditions of that time.
