The 21 hectares of trees, ponds, tropical flowers, horticultural displays, conservatories, memorials, garden art, and walking tracks inspire the 1.1 million visitors that pass through the garden gates every year. There are botanical gardens, a New Zealand native plants and trees section, heaps of short walks and a lovely children’s playground area with small swimming pool areas for the kids. With a wide geographical variety, lots to see and enjoy, nicely groomed walking areas, you'll want to stop by on any non-rainy day.
