How to reach

Use ALSA Marrakech Bus, they stop at  Marrakech's primary attractions.
One-way tickets cost 3 or 4 Moroccan dirhams.
The easiest and quickest way is to rent a taxi or uber.
 

Tips

Visit the place with a local guide to know more about its history.
Nearest other attractions to the place are Rue de la Kasbah, the ruins of the El Badi Palace and the Kasbah Mosque.
You can also explore the outside busy market. But do haggle!
Visit the lovely Kasbah Cafe which is just on the opposite side and the view from its terrace is stunning.
Make sure to keep health insurance before heading to the place.
Wear comfortable shoes.
Carry an ample amount of water to avoid dehydration.
Make sure you have in your backpack a protective suncream, sunglasses, rainwear, warm clothes, sufficient food, and drink. 
You can also ride a horse carriage.
Don’t forget your camera to capture the view of such a historic place.
