The Marrakech Museum is a premier museum situated in the center of Marrakesh, Morocco. It is housed in the Dar Menebhi Palace that was constructed in the19th century by Mehdi Menebhi and converted into a museum later. The museum is built in classical Moorish architecture and has fountains in the central courtyard. It also boasts of traditional seating areas, a hammam, and intricate tilework and carvings. It contains a chandelier-like ceiling piece decorated with fine geometric and epigraphic cuttings. The museum displays modern and traditional Moroccan art along with historical books, coins, and pottery work from the Berber, Moroccan, Jewish, and Islamic cultures.
The museum is situated right in the center of the city.
