Almost all the bus lines in the city stop at Jemaa El Fna, buses on most routes running every 15 to 20 minutes.
You can purchase your ticket on board to the driver.
There are guarded car parks on Rue Fatima Zohra (near Djemaa El Fna)
Visit the place in the evening as all the stands/shop open up from evening time.
All the shopkeeper will call you for their services and few must be annoying, so before you go to the place you must have mental preparation of huge crowds and vendors.
Visit the Saharan herbalists a local herbalist, to know about the herbs specialty and you can buy some unique medicines from them as well.
Le Café de France is one of the famous cafes in that area.
You can even explore the area in a horse carriage which is waiting for tourists to the south of the esplanade of the Koutoubia Mosque.

There are public toilets but its chargeable.
Other attractions like the Mosque of Koutoubia and Royal Palace are nearby to the place.
Beware of the pickpocketers and keep your belongings safely.
Try to visit any rooftop restaurants at night time for a great view of the square.

Carry an ample amount of water to avoid dehydration.
