About Jardin Majorelle

Jardin Majorelle is a beautiful sylvan lung area that surrounds Le Musee Berbere. Enjoy camel rides, waterfalls, Berber villages. This happens to be one of the most visited places at Marrakesh and that which provides a very fulfilling and pleasant experience. Get away from the mayhem, frenzy, and madness of the overcrowded streets and the heat and lose yourselves here in the cool confines of the garden which houses plants from all over the world.

How to reach

By Bus:

From Djemma, el Fna takes bus number 15 and will cost 4 dirhams each, one way, takes about 6mins, then 3 mins walk from the stop 

By Taxi:

Taxis are readily available and probably the most efficient way of getting to the garden
 
 

Tips

  • Visit early even if it is before opening time to avoid the crowd and long queues
  • Better to buy tickets online or the day before visiting to skip the waiting line
  • Buy the combined entry ticket which includes the Berber Museum and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum as well
  • Must visit the cafe within the gardens for some delicious food or to just have the popular mint tea
  • You can find a washroom in the cafe
  • Wear comfortable shoes
  • Carry an ample amount of water to avoid dehydration
  • Make sure you have in your backpack a protective suncream, sunglasses, rainwear, warm clothes, sufficient food, and drink
  •  Photography is not allowed inside the museum
  • There are cafes and gift shops where you can buy some of the great books and famous postcards
  • Credit cards are accepted 
  • To enter the museum you need to enter the garden first which is 70 dirhams
  • Make sure to have health insurance before heading to the place
