Gallery 127 is situated on the second floor of the Art Deco architecture building facing the former Central Market and is a part of the historic district of Gueliz. It is a recent addition to the several galleries that dot Marrakech. The contemporary gallery is over 100 square meters with high ceilings that allow the display of large artworks. Gallery 127 welcomes collectors and amateurs, as well as privileged visitors, and showcases the latest trends in contemporary photography. Artists from different parts of Morocco, who dabble in various artistic techniques, have been represented. The gallery also sells art pieces to suit every budget.
Gallery 127 participated in the 2018 edition of the Paris Photo at the Grand Palais. Famed photographer Flore was adjudged the winner of the photography prize - Marc Ladreit de Lacharriere, Academy of Fine Arts in Paris. This recognition was for her incredible project Marguerite Duras "Childhood and Exile" which is exhibited in the gallery.
