Xoximilco was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its cultural contribution to the world. Visitors can enjoy Mexican music, food, and culture on board "trajineras", traditional Mexican Gondolas, that cruise along Cancun’s beautiful canals while they enjoy a delicious dinner with drinks of local flavours and see or join the people dancing and singing along to mariachi and other live music bands. This party starts after sunset and provides a great opportunity for visitors to blend with Mexican culture and see the beautiful landscapes of the Mayan jungle and its beautiful natural surroundings. If you want to experience nightlife in a unique way, head here.
Xoximilco is located in the state of Quintana Roo on the Cancun-Chetumal Highway near Cancun International Airport. From the Cancun Hotel Zone, you can reach Xoximilco by taxi or by purchasing the Xoximilco tour package which includes transportation.
