Xel-Ha Park is an aquatic theme park located in the Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo. The park is named after the nearby archaeological site of Xelha of the Mayan civilization. The main attraction of the park is the natural inlet and lagoon where a river flows through rocks combining seawater with fresh water. The inlet forms a natural aquarium where hundreds of marine life inhabit. The park also has a turtle reserve where research on marine life is carried out to learn more to maintain the ecology of the region. Can you imagine the excitement you will have when you know that though the park is developed by a private enterprise, the visitors are allowed to swim with the dolphins, scuba dive, and snorkel in the lagoon? Can you afford to miss this excitement?
