About Dolphin Discovery Isla Mujeres

Isla Mujeres, or “Woman’s Island,” is an island that’s approximately 8 miles from the Yucatán Peninsula coast. Dolphin Discovery Isla Mujeres is in Isla Mujeres Island which is a 20-minute ferry ride away from Cancun in the Caribbean Sea. The beach is more laid back than Cancun, but it doesn't mean you cannot do anything throughout the day. You can fill your day by roaming around with the mountain bike or a golf cart and also enjoy snorkelling during the afternoon time.  It’s a small island, clocking in at 4.3 miles wide and 2,130 ft long, but the beautiful Cancun skyline can be seen from its shores. Because it’s close to the Caribbean (which is just east of the island), the Caribbean, as well as French, Mediterranean, Thai, Mayan, Mexican, and other cultural foods are available on the island. Also make sure you dive into the underwater museum Musa, which is only for certified divers. Make sure you spend time till evening to enjoy the sunset view  Isla Mujeres is a sun-lover and foodie’s paradise!
