Tips

  • Xcaret Park is huge and it is difficult to see everything in a day. Consult the map at the entrance and plan your activities.
  • Plan such way that you do not miss the spectacular Xcaret evening show.
  • There are three underground rivers here where you can swim in the caves. Out of these rivers, it is recommended that you take the Maya River which is best.
  • Use only biodegradable sunscreen so that you do not pollute the water.
  • Use only fins as snorkel gear is not required here.
  • Save the water activity until the end of the day so that you need not apply sunscreen again.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and clothes as you have to do a lot of walking. If you have small children, it is advisable to rent strollers for them.
  • You need to rent lockers to keep your things while going into the water.
  • It is recommended that you bring cash and a credit card with you. There are lockers, strollers, snorkel equipment, towels, food, and beverages available for extra charges.
  • Bring your own bottles of water. The food is very expensive here and you cannot bring your own food into the park. It is suggested that if you opt for Xcaret Plus package, you will have access to Area Plus facilities including restrooms, dressing rooms and showers, use of water equipment, safety bag service during the river journey and Buffet lunch including unlimited beverages.
