The Ile-Alatau National Park is a hiker’s paradise. Found between the Turgen Gorge and the Chemolgan River, the park covers 200,000 hectares of land in Kazakhstan.
Go for an outing in the Zailiysky Alatau mountain range. Hike through the forests and meadows along glaciers and lakes. Some of the peaks are over 4,000 m high. Take your cameras for scenic pictures of the valley. You may also get a glimpse of some of the wildlife. Snow leopards, brown bears, vultures, eagles, and deer call the Ile-Alatau National Park home.
