Established in the year 1965, the Israel Museum is home to some of the unique objects put up on display for the world to see. Venus of Berekhat Ram, the interior of a 1736 Zedek ve-Shalom synagogue from Suriname, necklaces owned by Yemen Jewish brides, Islamic Mihrab from 17th century Persia are few of the displays that are worth watching. The museum is located on a hill in the Givat Ram of Jerusalem and stands adjacent to the Bible Lands Museum, the Knesset, the Israeli Supreme Court, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
