The urban garden of Gethsemane is located at the foot of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. This is the place where Jesus Christ experienced the ‘Agony in the Garden’ and was arrested that very night before the event of crucifixion. According to the Eastern Orthodox Church tradition, this garden bears the last remains of Mother Mary. Again, as per the New Testament, the garden was frequently visited by Jesus and his disciples which prompted Judas to find and arrest him for crucifixion.
