About Christian Quarter

One of the four quarters of the walled old city of Jerusalem, the Christian Quarter holds religious significance for the believers of the Christian faith. This quarter is located in the north-western corner of the old city stretching from the New Gate in the north to the Jaffa Gate in the south, along with the western wall and ends in the Damascus Gate bordering on the Muslim Quarter. This quarter houses nearly 40 Christian Holy places including the Holy Sepulchre and comprises of mostly Palestinian Christian residents.

How to reach

Take Egged Bus 8, 38 to reach the Jaffa Gate bus stop. Walk for 6 minutes to reach the Christian Quarter. 
The Tourist Bus 99 also stops at the Jaffa Gate bus stop. Walk for 6 minutes to reach the Christian Quarter. 
Take a Taxi to reach the Christian Quarter.
