About Pergamon Museum.

The Pergamon Museum situated on the Museum Island in Berlin was designed by Alfred Messel and it was under construction from 1910 to 1930. It is built as a three-wing complex. It has an extensive collection of treasures and is one of the world’s most important collections of Greek and Roman Art.

How to reach

U-Bahn U6 (Friedrichstraße) S-Bahn S1, S2, S25 (Friedrichstraße); S5, S7, S75 (Hackescher Markt) Tram M1, 12 (Am Kupfergraben); M4, M5, M6 (Hackescher Markt).

Tips

  • Do not miss the Audio Tour Guide
  • Due to renovation work, a few parts of the Pergamon Altar will be closed until 2019. 
  • Do not carry jackets, it will not be allowed inside.
  • Be prepared to climb the stairs till the elevator is repaired.
