About Neue Wache or New Guardhouse.

Neue Wache is also known as “The New Guardhouse”. It was commissioned by Frederick William III of Prussia and inaugurated in 1818. Now, it is the Memorial of the Federal Republic of Germany for the Victims of War and Dictatorship, it pays homage to all the victims of war and dictatorship.
