There is a television tower in central Berlin called “The Fernsehturm”. It was constructed by the government of the German Democratic Republic. The tower is visible from nearly every point of the city. It was built between 1965 and 1969. About 400 people can be present in the sphere at the same time. The elevators in the tower are extremely fast. Though the tower can sway, it is safe in bad weather also. This is a working TV tower, as it was intended.
