About Charlottenburg Palace

Charlottenburg Palace is the largest palace in Berlin. This attraction was constructed between 1695 and 1699 as a summer residence for the royal family. During world war II, part of the Palace was destroyed, and parts of the building’s decoration could not be restored completely. The Palace interiors and the gardens are worth a visit, especially with the audio guide which gives you an account of how the royals lived and used the rooms. As long as you are there enjoy the royal palace and roam the gardens. (Gardens do not have an entry fee).
