St. Mary's Church is the Oldest church in the Capital city of Estonia. Tallinn, which was built in the 13th century has this very mysterious church where you can walk on the Old Plates, trying to decipher number codes and much more. The church is surrounded by green and narrow streets with views from the top of the tower of St Mary's Cathedral. A trip to the cathedral is worth walking up those 139 spiral steps. When you enter this holy place, you can see icons and gerbs on the walls, deco, and paintings representing a long history of Europe and the Baltics. An interesting and old church where you can view the Baroque bell tower; unusual to see with fascinating interiors of the church, decorated by Coats of Arms, beautifully displayed on the walls. It is located in the Toompea Hill, at a slight distance from the Center of Old Town Square. Overall, a very nice church and worth a visit if you are in Tallinn.
It is 307 km away from the Tallinn City Center.
