Built alongside the Kadriorg Palace in the early 18th century, Kadriorg park offers quaint greenery with water elements, colorful flower beds and romantic pathways that multiply the charm of the place. The Japanese Garden added to the park is absolutely stunning. The Swan Pond with birds and a gazebo is the perfect place to stop by on a sunny day. The Kitchen building located on the grounds along with the nearby cafes offer a perfect way for a leisurely stroll any time of the day. In winters, the park is a snowy wonderland. Spring sees Cherry blossoms warm up the entire park while summer embraces the blooming Irises and Orrises.
The most popular places in the park are the flower beds surrounding the Swan Pond and the promenade which leads from there to the president's palace. Along with this, there are a number of museums in the park, inclusive of KUMU (the Estonian Art Museum), Kadriorg Art Museum and the Mikkeli Museum, as well as monuments of some cultural figures.
