About The Petrin Lookout Tower

Situated on the Petrin Hill, the Petrin Lookout Tower is 63m high. Because of its elevation, it creates an illusion that the hill is taller than what it actually is.

It is like a miniature replica of the Eiffel Tower located in Paris. Constructed with the remains of the railway track, it is a wonderful tourist attraction. Visitors can take a ride aboard a funicular airway and can climb up the Petrin Hill to the base of the tower. The tower has a total of 299 steps which you can climb for enjoying a panoramic and spectacular view of the city that was built in 1891.
