The Old Town Hall has the most spectacular astronomical clock which enhances the beauty of the city. Situated at the southern side of the Old Town Hall, the place is a delight with its Gothic doorways replete with exquisite interiors displaying and exhibits in the Chapel. It is vibrant with the Twelve Apostles and other figures appearing in a parade, taking part in the procession across the clock tower. The historical center of the city with the Tyn Church and Clementine stand out predominantly. Established in 1338, it was initially an administrative center which later became a cultural center for the city of Prague. The center also now houses ceremonial events. The Town Hall which underwent various improvements in the following centuries is an exemplary example of architectural glory and shows the history of the town.
